Found Sick, Injured, or Orphaned Wildlife?
Wildlife Control and Rehabilitation
In York County, PA
While the York County SPCA is dedicated to the welfare of animals, our expertise and resources are focused on domesticated pets like dogs, cats, and small animals. Wildlife has unique care needs that require specialized knowledge, facilities, and legal permissions that fall outside our scope. Accepting wildlife could compromise both the animals’ well-being and our ability to provide quality care to the pets in our shelter. Instead, we encourage those who encounter injured or orphaned wildlife to contact licensed wildlife rehabilitators or organizations equipped to handle these situations.
For your convenience, we’ve compiled a list of trusted wildlife resources and contacts to ensure these animals receive the appropriate care they need.
